I once listened to two Kentucky fans actually discuss that they couldnt believe that UK didnt hire Spurrior before he took the South Carolina job... as if they could have gotten him. I mean every fan base has dilusions of grandure but they may take the cake.


I think Bill Belicheck may take over the UK basketball program... I mean why would any one not want to live in lexington the center of the universe.:no:

That is nothing. I have a picture of a 350 lb. Cat fan at the '05 SEC tourney doing a belly flop into a puddle of rain, beer, and urine in front of the sports bar by the Georgia Dome. It is from a cell phone, so it is not the best quality, but I'll post it if I can dig it up and figure out how.

Its amazing to me how they think they are great....yeah they were in the past...but the SEC has gotten alot better and their superior recruting they used to get is now going to Florida, TN, UNC, Duke...

Who really cares how they feel? I don't want them to have Pearl in the first place although we all now their tone would change if Pearl were their next coach. They would love to have him and they are just jealous that they are looking up to UT in the standings now in their own sport. I would be mad too if UT finished behind Kentucky in football and if it looked like no end in sight. Keep in mind they have no pro teams, they stink in every sport but basketball, and now they are behind us in that too. It must be depressing to be a Kentucky fan but it's great to be a Tennessee Vol.

oh well........it's kind of nice to have a guy that's the envy of our rivals.

Kentucky is the most delusional fan base in the country. It’s like Alabama football. They believe they should win every game every year. Give me a break and quit reliving the "glory" days of Kentucky basketball. Dig up Adolph Rupp and let him coach your sorry school because unless they through Sabin money at a coach no one is gonna touch that program just to get fired after they lose more than 5 games a year.

It must be hard to look at that program to the south you laughed at all those years ahead of you in the standings year after year. That’s why they hate Pearl because he took a down and out program and the best basketball player in their state and beat them each of the last 2 years.

i love how losing eleven games with a team that wasn't supposed to do much of anything and winning the SEC East last year with a team picked 5th are viewed as bad results in the eyes of kentucky fans.

I personally don't see how bruce can go anywhere. He's built himself up as this school spirit guy who loves his new job (two years as a coach is still new in my books). if he leaves now, he looks like a money hungry fool who just puts on a show.

oh yeah, screw kentucky.

Honestly, I could care less what any moronic Kentucky fan says about us anymore.

They are jealous as hell that we've left their athletics program in the dust with the uprising of our basketball team.

We've owned them in football, we've owned them in women's bball now we are starting own them in men's bball as well.

Every thing else is just icing on the cake, because without basketball, Kentucky has... NOTHING.
