Mods please don't move if everyone's ok with it...

Guys I'm posting this here because there will be thousands and thousands of you all tailgating and showing your orange pride around campus. At 2pm Saturday, Cuonzo Martin and staff will be holding an open practice, just walk on in and sit wherever you want. The reason this is such a big deal, Robert Hubbs and Jonathan Williams lll will be visiting Saturday and you can guarantee they'll be at this practice.

Both recruits are very highly rated, and would be huge additions to the Tennessee Baller Vols. So if you can find a break from tailgating around 2pm, come on by TBA and show these guys some Rocky Top love and just what the volunteer nation is.

GBO and Kick some Gators A$$!!!!

Just before the start of the 3rd quarter last Saturday my wife and I saw some of the basketball team milling around the entrance to one of the skyboxes. nearby was Bruce Pearl who was being mobbed by fans and having his picture taken with them.

bleedingTN, I just wanna say I really appreciate you and the effort/info you bring to the basketball world of UT. In the middle of football season, in the week of what most view as the biggest week of Dooley's tenure to-date, you are pushing for the support of our basketball team. I have tremendous respect for that. I won't be able to be there, but I do hope that others do turn out in droves to see this practice. We need consistent and strong support for our team throughout the year, not just during bball season.

Thanks for bringing what you do. You are a scholar and a gentleman. :hi:

yes!!! Hubbs and JW3 are AMAZING players! Would instantly make us a threat next year with these guys. The only thing that would of made this weekend perfect from a basketball recruiting perspective is if Nichols ditched the Nerds and came to hang out with the big boys! Who wants to hang out with premature bald people? At least CCM shaves his head...can't say the same for Stallings :D

These guys are both top 50 recruits, it would be huge if we could get a decent size crowd out there.

sure but if people are on campus for gameday there is a lot of free time. This is just another UT activity they might be interested in. No harm in everyone knowing what's going on Saturday

Absolutely agree completely with you.

However, a 3o minute break from 2:15-2:45 while you're already there isn't a huge ordeal. Infact, I thought itd be kind of another fun event to add to the tailgating experience.

You're not wrong. If I'm in the RV lot down next to ole Lame Kiffin Wastewater Treatment Plant, I may wander over, since it's close.

Awesome bleeding! If I was able to go to the game I would be at practice for sure. Keep up the good fight man! :hi:
