Great to hear their speeds are actually faster than listed. We need to catch up to the speed UF has.

lol I have been saying that too lately with the way UT has been playing. but no, im 5'8 so im kind of undersized for college. Its not too bad for high school though. But yeah TB is probably a lot more threatening at 6'2 goin that fast. i really hope he can throw well too though.

He is a passer. He completed just under 70% last year.

A lot better than Crompton out of HS. Here is his completion percentage:

Soph: 46.7%
JR: 75%
SR: 55%

So he averaged 58.9% passing in HS. He only passed for 6228 yards his whole HS career. Moreno ran for more yards in HS. How was he the number 2 QB?

West Virginia has a good shot at quarterback Eugene Smith from Miramar (Fla.) High following the de-commitment of Tajh Boyd. The Mountaineers are covering all the bases in their quarterback search and have offered Glen Allen (Va.) Deep Run athlete Antone Exum an opportunity to come in as a quarterback. Exum will set visits after his senior season, but the thought of playing quarterback has to be intriguing to him. Exum plays quarterback and defensive back in high school.

looks like WVU has moved on

Wow!!! What a huge pickup Boyd would be.

Could you imagine, Boyd at QB, Creer, Hardesty, Giles and Oku in the backfield. Warren at TE with M-Brown and G-Jones on the edges?

How exciting would that be??????

These kids have to at least have serious doubts that the present coaching staff will be in place next season. The fact that we keep managing quality commitments makes me optimistic that a good hire will retain most of them. I think it still means something to commit to Tennessee beyond whoever the head coach is.

Agreed -- but the entire staff will be on the chopping block when the new HC comes in. If he loses most of the offensive staff -- then we could have some issues.

I talked to Boyd while he was here on Saturday.. (I'm a student here at UT and live in Gibbs) and he was talking about he had pretty much made up his mind but wouldn't give me an indication on which way he was leaning. Take it for what it's worth though.
