I've always wondered if you could use a roku with sling tv and hotspot a phone with unlimited data. Thoughts?

Its an option if you're close to the stadium and have a BingeOn type plan that would allow it. You could even just hook the phone via HDMI.

A lot of providers have beefed up their capacity on the stadium, so I imagine it would work for a big portion of the day, especially early when Gameday and things like that are on.

Switch to an HDTV antenna for the CBS game if service gets buggy.

You can but probably have connection issues since everyone will be on cell phone within a 2 mile radius. Who has an unlimited plan? Did not know providers still offered that?

Tried that. Parking lot coverage is spotty at best.

We use LTE through phone, works perfect.
