Hey everyone, I will be traveling from Chicago to Knoxville for the Ole Miss game this season on the 13 of November. Since this will be my first Vols game (but my 3rd SEC game) I just wanted to get as much information as early as possible for this trip. I realize there is thread in The Pub devoted completely to Tailgating, but this is more of a specialized case.
What I would like to ask of you is what you think would be the perfect tailgate experience for my group, considering I doubt we will get a spot staked out with a canopy.
While I have heard all about southern hospitality and witnessed it while at the Ole Miss LSU game in 2006, I don't assume I would just be able to hop under someone's canopy and feel like an old friend.
So please, give me a rundown of what you, if anyone decides to read this, would plan as our ultimate tailgate experience for our first Vols game.
