Tacky shade of orange?

This is targeting out of town tourists. I hate to break it, but most people with sense agree that it is a tacky color. You don't really see it being worn outside of UT gear or on Halloween. No one paints their house UT orange. You don't see orange suits being worn seriously outside of Dumb and Dumber.

This, however, does add to it's uniqueness and is part of what makes it special.

Let's not try to be so sensitive that you turn into what so many mock on this board.

Yes. It's obviously an attempt at self deprecating humor. I can't say I like it, but I don't dislike it, either.

Normally I agree with you - you’re pretty down to earth and respectful. But I must respectfully disagree with you. It’s bigger than that. This is not a rival fan or team that’s writing this. You DO NOT disrespect your product in this way - TN VOLs is a part of what you’re promoting here. Tacky is a negative word … you don’t want to associate your product with TACKY.

I’ve never thought of TN orange as anything but ORANGE. I hear people referring to it as an “ugly shade of orange” … 🍊 Sorry I don’t get it … unless you just don’t like orange ??? Personally for uniforms, I dislike purple, sky blue, puke green, BRIGHT red, BRIGHT red-orange or bright yellow … I could name others but that’s just my opinion. I love our orange on white … best uni in CF !
