Kiffin may be fired.
USC AD has been looking for a reason......GT may have given it to him... :)

Okie doke...

I thought Haden backed Kiffin not that long ago. And with Monte retiring to save Lane's butt, I doubt Kiffin is fired as much as the fans want it. I'd fire him after finishing 7-6 with that much talent but keeping him one more year in hopes that he'll continue lying to recruits and stockpiling talent for the next coach might be the way to go.

The AD had a reason mid season. USC was expected to be playing Alabama in the BCSCG during the preseason hype. He could have very easily fired Kiffin. He may still do so.

The 2012 USC is very similar to the 2005 TN Vols team. Both had very high expectations and both totalling flopped.

I think they have to keep him. No way they get a decent hire right now if they fire Kiffin. Their next couple of years will be tough no matter who the coach is.

USC will keep Kiffturd during the reduced scholarship period. The coaches wanting to take that job will be much better after that has passed.

No one fires coaches in January (unless you're Rich Rodriguez). They'll wait until they go 6-6 next year to fire him, doubt he makes it all the way through the season honestly

He has job security in sanctions.

They will keep Kiff for another year at least but despite having loaded recruiting class coming in,USC has a rough road ahead. They will not have the depth to keep up with Oregon and Stanford. UCLA is on the way up and they are sure to drop a game or two the shouldn't like Arizona. It will just get worse as 2-3 players of each class don't pan out, transfer, or get booted.

Bingo. Keep Kiffin for another year, maybe 2. If he does great things then awesome. If not, at last the recruits will be top notch and the next guy won't have to "rebuild". It'd be dumb to fire Kiffin right now

"UNLESS," Haden already "might have" someone in mind with whom he has had discussions or understandings concerning the end of the season and availability of the job, as well as a/the potential coach's availability. Otherwise, Kiffin will survive.

I'd say maybe two more years for Tee USC can't afford to let kiffin go he owes the university half million he borrowed to buy a 7.5 million dollar home fire kiffin now the university will have a home for sale FIRE KIFFIN put your new coach in the home as a bonus

I really enjoyed watching Kiff and crew get their a$$ handed to them yesterday. As a matter of fact I got to enjoy that several times in 2012. Although not nearly as satisfying as a UT win, it did make me feel a bit better knowing that those losses couldn't have happened to a better guy!

Gruden to USC. Mods man your stations.
