"Butch Jones says there's no magic potion. Well, what's the stuff Jim McElwain got his hands on?"

Guys I'm blind and I read this name wrong. My apologies.

Florida can lose out and McElwain is still COY IMO.

Hiring a guy who coached in big boy league is paying off already.

When you have legends calling you out, trouble is brewing. Just ask Dooley.

It's over for Butch

The problem is, it's not. The Butchettes are right, he gets AT LEAST through the end of next season. Meanwhile, anyone that has watched this team knows that Butch is not the guy to get us where we want to be. I'm sure he'll eventually back into a couple of wins (surely) but the guy is not a big time coach.

Butch gets next year due to finances. I'm willing to bet he won't fire the coordinators that really need to go. His staff has always been the buddy network. It's time to focus on other things this fall.

If this pace continues and he's here through next season expect Neyland to be underpopulated for attendance. This fan base will not be able to handle that. And not sure Butch would (should) want to be around for that sort of environment. Cuonzo left on the BB side. Would Butch?

Nip it in the bud.

Senior Member, i love the fact that youre trying to keep it positive in multiple threads, but i really think youre still in denial.

At least humor the OP by responding w your opinions instead of your parental fingered approach as if youre shaming them.

Would absolutely be fantastic if it worked that way.

If the admin. got shook up UT may have a chance in football again.

Common sense.

Or ya know... He actually is a good coach, hired great coordinators, and has good position coaches.

All those things we don't have.
