Syracuse vs UConn

Play calling has been horrible for Syracuse. They’ve been in the redzone 3 times and forgot how to play football.
It’s also a rivalry game. These 2 hate each other. Weird things happen in rivalry games.

There was a garbage score by UConn in the last minute, though. Not to mention, looking at that scoring summary, Syracuse took the lead early and just couldn’t entirely put them away (after 21-7 in the 2nd, UConn managed to keep finding an eventual score each time after Syracuse).

Syracuse might be terrible. I think we will be fine though. We could have put way more on them if we had wanted I believe. Lots of teams playing with their food a little today as well. Penn State only up 10-0 on FIU right before half.

14-3 now. Syracuse not impressive at all. Vols did super scheduling by matching up with Syracuse in Atlanta for a season opener. Angelli getting beat up and the team is uninspired. Weak tv schedule today.

Hopefully that’s the case. Otherwise it might mean there’s a run defense issue on Tennessee’s end that could very well rear its head worse as this season goes on.

I don’t think that’s the case. When he’s ran, he’s been successful. 6 carries 31 yards. 5.2 yards a carry. They’ve only rushed 13 tikes if you take away the sacks that are counted as attempts.

That’s still (at the moment of this post) 15 total rushes by the team for 48 yards, which isn’t great, though. That kind of seems/feels like something that’s more than a 1 player getting touches issue, given who they’re playing.
