Syracuse vs Clemson (merged)

Yes, hopeful Syracuse get the W.

Clemson used to be pretenders and only got nationally good after Fulmer and very negatively recruiting against Tennessee telling recruits all types of lies. The Vols dominated the Carolinas in recruiting. Could cherry pick players from the Carolinas before the great downfall after Kiffen and through Heupel.

Clemson really capitalized on this Tennessee downfall with the help of former Tennessee coaches like Dan Brooks (one of Tennessee's best recruiters and coaches of all time) who is responsible for bolstering Clemson's defensive line to championship level like he did at Tennessee.

With all the cut throat dirty recruiting tactics Clemson used against Tennessee, while Tennessee had completely inept coaches, I could care less of Clemson ever wins another game.

Still amazes me how people blew this comment out of proportion. You have to really work to be offended to think he was insulting Tennessee here.
It’s very easy to understand that he mocked Tennessee for not coming prepared for the game. He attempted to motivate his team at the expense of Heupel’s reputation. You’d have to be very dense to miss that.

Just be glad you don’t live here.
It’s much worse in person.
They have completely sold their souls to Dabo-he runs EVERYTHING on campus. They have to check with the athletic dept to see if it’s okay.
Everybody “knows” somebody and the town and campus are almost unrecognizable because of all the construction (which has overloaded the infrastructure).
Meanwhile, Dabo has his palace on the lake away from it all.
They’re getting tired of his act, but he might be so dug in that they can’t help but deal with it.
I’ll get a little bit of lip from Clemson people every now and then, but the Orange Bowl beatdown and the BaseVols coming in and taking the regional year before last really threw a wet blanket on the anti-UT movement.
They know their place, even if they don’t want to admit it.
I steer clear of there unless I absolutely have to go through, and I couldn’t care less if they won another game.

Listening to the defensiveness in his interviews and witnessing his stubbornness around the portal in this new era of college football, Dabo may stay employed for a while longer, but he is done!
He’s thin skinned about some stuff. He just went off on a crazy tangent in that interview. If Syracuse wins, holy crap that post game will be must watch. 😂

I've said for years that ever since the day we told Tajh Boyd to decommit from us, Clemson took our program, or more accurately, we gave it away to them. Well to quote Randall Graves in Clerks 2, "we're takin' it back!"
