We were leading North Carolina by a large margin late in the 2nd half, and they mounted a HUGE comeback to beat us.

If we would have won, we would have faced TULSA in the Elite 8 - thus, a likely Final 4 appearance.

In 2000 we were in the sweet 16 in Austin Texas, and now in '07 we're going back to the Lone Star State....hopefully we get a different result this year :rock:

Back when Mears was coach it was a 32 team field I believe, so the sweet 16 didn't have the same significance.
