Adams bats about .500 with me

I think he absolutely crushes it half the time and somehow swings the bat into his own ass half the time.

Brohm is like another Butch hire. He kicked a$$ in the sunbelt and he's got purdue 6 wins.Ooooh talk about a resume

It is absurd and makes us look like entitled fools to criticize quality candidates like Brohm when we’re in this mess.
Brohm is great coach. Have you watched a Purdue game lately?
Perhaps we should reach out to Gruden or Petersen or Patterson this week.
I get your frustration and am sorry, but come on.

You let Currie make the hire because you don't want to hire an AD just to hire a coach. Let it be on Currie whether you fire him in a week or 12 months. Obviously don't let him make the decision, but trot him out there and pat him on the behind. You can't say "hey successful AD, come to my school and make the biggest hiring decision you can possibly make." ADs hope to make that hire once? Possibly twice in their whole career?

You know the drill.

Petrino's skeletons aren't as bad as Shiano's but I'll pass on him as well.

Brohm could be great. He's basically built by Petrino. Same system, less baggage with lots of upside.

I'm on the fence about Brohm. Very short resume, but the fact that Purdue is bowl eligible is amazing. They were 9-39 in previous four seasons.

If he goes 9-3 next year, or even 8-4 then I would roll out the red carpet for him. Let's see if he can build on this.

Brohm won two conference championships as recently as 2015 and 2016.

His record those years:

2015: 12-2 (WKU finished the season ranked 24th in AP Poll.)
2016: 10-3

I would take Petrino in a heartbeat.

Kiffin Petrino Pruitt... one got us on probation and one exposed his university to Title IX issues while we just settled a multimillion dollar Title IX suit.

Those can’t be reconciled with reality at Tennessee. Unless the Schiano thing really was a farce, how can anyone wrap their minds around this? If you think we are getting pounded by the national media right now, does anyone realize how much worse it would be if we hired a coach with known integrity or Title IX issues? It would prove, in the country and recruits eyes, that they were right about TN fans using the Sandusky scandal a a cover.

It’s not right. Brohm, Martin, Cutcliffe, Sumlin, Miles or even Phil. They don’t have skeletons that would add more embarrassment to the state or the university.

Purdue won an average of less than 3 games the four years before he took over. He's about to go bowling with one of the worst rosters of any power 5 team.

:good!: No thanks

What VN did yesterday was truly in the right. However, by virtue of the position Currie put us into, we're backed into a corner, and don't have the luxury of too many "no thanks"...unfortunately. Thanks UTAD
