DeBord redeemed himself temporarily as a playcaller with the second half Florida performance through the A&M game.
I thought his playcalling in the Alabama game was really bad. We wouldn't have won even if it was stellar, but how many inside runs can you do with Hurd before you figure out it doesn't work? I know their pass rush is good, but why call only a couple of plays where we tested their CBs down the field in man coverage? Why call only a single play where you moved the pocket with Dobbs? Why did Kamara have 12 touches out of 60+ plays after a career game? Why only call a single play where Hurd was a lead blocker for Kamara on a run?
Aren't all of these fair questions?
