I think Barnett has the heart of a warrior and a champion and would be going 200MPH even if the Vols had not won a single game. Barnett demonstrates character and a continual drive to improve as a player, team mate, and individual.

Not debating that. Just saying there's no way to please everyone. Some people favor DT quarterbacks some like pocket passers

Not by me...I don't see this as Jalen's fault. I've heard privately this has been brewing for a year. I hate he's leaving, and thank him for his time here. If what I've heard is true it's better for everyone on the team for him to move on. It also exposes Butch for the ineffectual leader I've thought him to be for a while now.

Can someone help me understand the thought process on Hurd going to TE or receiver? Didn't he specifically chose UT because they would let him stay a RB? It's been a few years but i thought that was his draw to UT. Other schools were talking about him switching position.:dunno:

I don't care which one we use as long as he does that thing very well.

Josh Dobbs isn't a good dual threat QB because he can only run and not pass. He's basically a wildcat QB.

Supposedly 35 players stood up last night during the meeting and voiced their displeasure with the coaching. Also, there are rumors of player confrontations during the meeting. Sounds like a true cluster!

He may believe that but for the sake of accuracy, the "infallible" quote wasn't specifically referring to his offense at the introductory press conference.

Maybe Kongbo had a whole lot of upside, but anyone who could not see he is a drama queen and an attention hog is blind.

Looks like we not only brought in some defective bricks, but somebody put too much water in the cement.

IF, Hurd leaves. I believe it to be a mistake on his part, but shouldn't hate him for it. It's his life. I am just a fan and he doesnt owe me (or you) anything.

3 years was enough for him, and those close to him, to realize that he did not have an NFL future (especially not a healthy one) at RB. Smart, mature, rational decision. Same one Pryor made, only it took Pryor longer to figure it out. Now Pryor is getting paid and finding success as a WR in the NFL.
