this morning on radio.
Saying no high profile Wideout wants to come block for him and never get thrown the ball.

I agree that he isn't up to par but not being thrown the ball and blocking in the edge isn't his fault that's a scheme issue.

The Vols problems hasn't been needing great WRs until this year. He hasn't really been a liability and the WRs have been great blockers.

All this because Higgins chose Clemson? SMH.

No wonder everyone thinks our fan base is nuts.

We have plenty of nut jobs on the radio with the how to guide.

And if we started throwing the ball all over the field I'm sure those guys would moan about how we're not using Hurd and Kamara enough

Newsflash: EVERY WR in the country has to block on running plays! News at 11:00!

Here's another newsflash: you're not gonna get 5star WRs when the best numbers any of your WRs put up over 3 seasons won't even rank in the top 100 nationally.

This year it's all about the wins. As long as we are winning mistakes can be made, if a loss occurs due to blunders a lot of finger pointing can be expected by fans and the media. I still don't expect our players to lower themselves to that level publicly. I do expect our Captains to lead by example and handle business behind closes doors in a respectful manner.

I still say when there is a called run and the defense is stacked waiting for the run, we gotta have a way to change the call a make them pay for not respecting our passing game.

Go Vols!

Yea, I remember when Arkansas had McFadden and Jones and some thought they should throw the ball more...lol!

We might throw more than last year but it won't be because we run for less yardage...we could easily have two 1000 yard rushers plus Dobbs...

I hope Dobbs has better accuracy down field this year but our strength is running the ball and the short passing game...we do however, have QBs in the wings who look to be better passers (just not better overall QBs at this point)

I dont see how this makes swain and stoke not credible yes stokes wrote the article but no where in it did it say he thought it was true or not. idk if you know how gridiron now works but the site tell the writers what they want them to write then the writers write a peace and gridiron now edits it and publishes it.

That's absurd. He either thought it was true or he has no professional integrity. Otherwise he wouldn't have written it. Either way, he did and should have lost a lot of credibility.

Swain is a joke. He might be the least informed player in the media. I cringe when he tries to explain his logic behind some of his views. And Sethy boy lost all credibility when he made a story out of a non-story with the whole "physical altercation" bs.

Grain of salt when it comes to these two guys and their opinions.

Yep. Losing to Oklahoma and Florida isn't what kids are looking at. They are looking at the abject lack of production and development.

With all due respect for D4H.... and I truly mean that.... well the "due" part anyway....

Dobbs has NOT been a very effective passer over the last two years. Worley would have had a decent career throwing the ball but UT couldn't protect him. Maybe Dobbs improves this fall. Maybe not. But out of the guys set to fight to replace him there are some VERY good, accurate arms who have the instincts to "throw receivers open".

UT will become more balanced going forward. If not this year then next for certain.

No question Azzani is not very good at what he gets paid to do.
Florida fans were ecstatic to see him go, his WR there and at Wiscy were dreadful.
His one claim to fame is Antonio Brown,
