Sutton/Maybin and the new DC

It's certainly hard to think this plays in our favor for those 2. Change make people nervous, and the thought of learning a new system probably doesn't work for us (even if it's really not that different).

Was my first thought as well, but ultimately, players have much better relationship with their position coaches than they do the coordinator most times.

Hope we get them back.

I hope they at least call Tyler Bray and get his opinion

Their grade will me much higher. Bray wasnt going to be drafted but convinced himself he would. JRM & Cam will make teams but rather how much they earn is the difference.

Cam Butch's hire convince them to stay? Maybin, Maybin not. Depends on how Suttonly the hire is made. Better drive his Chevy Kamara to the office and get going

I think if we go hire someone good/prominent it works in our favor. Another DeBord (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and they likely move on.

Didn't think about that side of it. It's definitely another thing for them to consider. Convincing those guys to stay would be HUGE early wins for the new DC.

Bray was drafted by the KC Chiefs.

Hey pepperjax, did you know Bray was not drafted by the Chiefs. He was an UDFA. In case anyone on the board had neglected to tell you I thought I would let you know. Again Bray was an UDFA and not drafted by the Chiefs.

I doubt it will be a big change, as you stated at the end. I expect the same as when CMD was highered. The new DC will learn the terminology that our players know to reduce the learning curve. I would be stunned if we change from a base 4-3. Techniques and plays called in game time will be the biggest change.
