Sutton broken bone in foot....

My son will be taking in his first game at Neyland on Saturday. He IDOLIZES Cam Sutton. When I told him Cam would not be able to play he was inconsolable. He cried to the point of sobbing. He said he wants to get a jersey made and wear it all season to honor him. He even included him in his prayers last night.

F*** injuries. For real. F*** them to Vols, f*** them to our opponents (Del Rio got a bum deal for that cheap a$$ shot Saturday), just f*** them. These kids put their blood, sweat, and tears into this, just for our lazy a$$es to enjoy. Injuries are just not fair. If Sutton doesn't play for us again that's totally unfair to him.

Sutton will be on the side lines coaching Buchanan up after each defensive series. He will grow up ALOT during this game.

Seriously though, Cam has been one of my favorite players. Hope and pray he has a 100% recovery. Is Osborne not ready to play? He was very highly rated out of high school and an early enrollee.

Looks like he could done for the season....if so, how worried should we be that Baylen steps in. I mean if he had gone pro what other options would we have gone to anyways???

I think UT is OK with two out of: Gaulden, Foreman, Buchanan, Moseley, and Martin.

I think Jones said Abernathy could still play corner if necessary.

Terrible for Sutton but UT has depth there. Sometimes units get better when guys have to step up to replace someone as good as Sutton.

Baylen would be the next man up besides Moseley and Martin if I'm not mistaken. I don't see Foreman going to CB

It was reported last week that Foreman was getting work at corner during practice. I think it is very possible that Foreman moves to cb. Possibly in place of Martin and/or Mosley or Sutton's spot.

Martin has got to improve and do what he's coached to do. He's been terrible so far. He's the reason for the 69 yd run by VaTech. Two bad pass interference calls. Crazy play so far.

Foreman really disappointed me yesterday. Obviously all of this isn't that important to him. He and Mosley loafed on the winning play last yr. they both got something to prove this week.
Foreman didn't play yesterday. He was suspended for violating Team rules.

How come no one is talking about Osborne? He was an EE and was doing well in the Spring. Just curious...

Tough break (no pun intended) but ultimately better than ligament damage (IMO)...hope he has a speedy recovery.

So who is responsible for the wretched conditions of Neyland Stadium turf? What will be done? Embarrassing! :ermm:
