Looks like he could done for the season....if so, how worried should we be that Baylen steps in. I mean if he had gone pro what other options would we have gone to anyways???

Sorry to hear this...

Get well and get ready for the Combine.

Baylen Buchanan will step in and STUD-out!

Expect people to take their targets. Expect to see more Justin Martin. Moseley. Buchanan.

I will say as someone who has broken my foot twice, and suffered a few injuries to it, injuries to the feet can be very irritating and slow to heal. And when you are dealing with so many small bones it's a bit different than breaking other bones. Very easy to re-aggravate it.

Wish him the best if it's indeed a long term issue for him.

Awful, awful news for someone who chose to stay their senior year and is such a great leader on the field. Hope he can contribute that energy and leadership from the sidelines and that he heals up as soon as possible.

Baylen would be the next man up besides Moseley and Martin if I'm not mistaken. I don't see Foreman going to CB

Sucks for him. I wish he would've gone pro now. Now he's going to have to deal with a bunch of questions from NFL teams about his health. I know us fans want to be selfish and watch these guys stay 4 years but for guys like Cam that are NFL ready and don't really offer the college game too much more than they already do this is a prime example of he should've looked out for himself and gotten paid. His loyalty to us backfired and it flat out sucks. Hate it for him.

I'm not doubting you at all, I'm just out of the loop. Do you have a link or mind saying where you heard this? Thanks.

Indeed! Foot injuries suck. I had plantar plate repair surgery March 29th to fix a torn plantar plate and hammertoe repair as well. I'm still very much recovering. I can walk OK, but there's absolutely no running. Mind you I had to have a 2nd surgery due to a MRSA infection I picked up at the hospital the 1st time around, so that definitely slowed the healing, but 6 months later and I'm not close to 100 percent and not sure I'll ever be.

Of course the injuries are quite different in nature, but any foot injury is so nagging.

This is why I will never be upset with a vol player deciding to forgo his senior year. This will definitely impact where he's selected in the draft & financially. Some players make the right decision to leave early & some dont. But it's their decision to make. For them and their families sake. Get well soon Cam. Can't wait to see you back in action whether it be in orange or at the next level. Go Vols!

Yeah, this sucks. If it's something like a Jones fracture, it's gonna be at least 8-9 weeks for him to play.

Look's like were gonna lose 4-5 games this year.

This is devastating if true. It's not like we are locking down on receivers anyway. If there was one player on defense we couldn't lose, this is the one.
