Today and tommorow, everything that is wrong with the program I have loved since childhood is being deemed by me to be temporarily irrelevent.

It's the Bama game dadgummit, and I'm going to enjoy it.

This game is the embodiment of everything that is great about Volunteer football, and nothing... not a coaching crisis... not a poor record... not a single one of the myriad miseries my Vols are beset with, is going to stop me from enjoying this game for what it is...It IS Tennessee football. It's almost like every tradition we Vols hold dear was created because of games like this.

God I love it.

After The Pride plays the Tennessee Waltz Saturday night, all grudges are officially back on. Until then, I'm just going to bask in the Big Orange glow.

Go Vols!

I guess i need to shut up this morning. I think climer does that just to get a rise out of people, it works.

Go Eric Berry

“You don’t need any extra incentive to play this game,’’ Wes Brown said. “This game speaks for itself.’’

The weekend is officially here! I'm at work, but I'm in my 14 jersey (thank you God for casual Fridays), reading this board, consoling the auburn fan , and waiting on the bama fan to get here. Life is GOOD!!!!

Tomorrow we head up, wave at all the UT fans flying their flags on the interstate, and make faces at the Bama fans (that's the fun of heading to the game from the south). I'll be hoarse by Saturday night. My hands will be stinging from clapping. And Sunday I'll go to church and give God thanks for another great weekend in the south.

Because win or lose......IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSE!!!!!

This will be the third bama game that my son and I have attended in Knoxville. He is just 14 but he understands the intensity of the rivary. We'll have a great time!

We are heading to Gatlinburg at noon. Might as well make a mini-vacation out of the trip. Ready to see my Vols ruin bama's season.

I've been there all week, OWH. No coach, player, or season is above this rivalry.

I'm about to have to step into an exam room with an Alabama fan. Unfortunately, jokes about consanguinity, trailers, sheep, and mayonaisse are not deemed "professional" in a medical office. . . .guess I better bite my tongue!

Well that would have to depend on where the practice is and who the patient is, wouldn't it?

I'm going to the game with some friends and I'm very excited about it. It's nice to cut through all of the BS of this season, etc. and just enjoy a great game against a rival at home.

I just hope we're still excited 15 minutes into it, unlike the florida game. But enough of that sentiment, BUCK FAMA.

The cooler weather and the night time start will make it feel like the good ole days. Just put aside all the rest and soak it in man...

Who knows, maybe we can even make a run at these turds...

Almost quitting time. I have a meeting stuck in the middle though. Then starts the football weekend. Beat Bama.
