I watched it. Crazy how long that went on. I had no idea this was a thing until this documentary.

The answer to the question the article poses is because it centered the wrestling team, not football. Doesn't make it right that it hasn't gotten more attention, but that is the reason why.

The scandals that have gotten more publicity involved football (Penn St, Baylor) or athletes who went on to become very prominent figures (Michigan St).
