I went to get my ticket (I am a student) today and the lady in the ticket office said something interesting to two girls in front of me.

She said "Make sure you bring your cameras to the game, you are going to want them there."

Are there any major things honoring Phil planned (Besides the expected bring him in the middle of the field give him some plaque and show highlights on the jumbotron) , or any rumors of something not known going down on Saturday?

Anthing out of the ordianry that is done for him seems to be a little misplaced as far as the timing goes. If UT is trying to capitalize on the ESPN audience or something, please save that for another game in a future season. I think the gesture will not be fully appreciated by the Fulmer's for a couple of more years. The fans and the AD that fired him want to celebrate his tenure while he still wants to coach. How would you feel?

Let him run thru the T by himself, give him a tasteful tribute, but I hope any other gesture is saved for a later opportunity.

I heard that Phil will run thru the" T" with a box of Krispy Kremes in one hand and his buyout check in the other.

The Weather Channel is going to be there at halftime to give Phil a plaque and let him know that from now on, one storm a year, will be classified as the " Phil Fulmer Perfect Storm "

2056 seems like a good year. I will be 79 if I am still alive. I will probably be EXTREMELY rich and more interested in spending my cash on some Anna Nicole Smith type girl than I will be caring what honor they give Fulmer.

I don't mind if they do something. I do, however, think anything big will done a few years down the road.

Kenny Chesney will perfom a new version of "Touchdown Tennessee"

Much shorter version...gets called back for a holding penalty on the bass player.

Oh...Crompton on drums. Misses the cymbals twice during the first verse...gets moved to tambourine player...slips out of his hand and hits the keyboard player.

Fullmer grimaces, claps, then runs over to the replay camera to watch the film.

Classic send-off.

Go Vols.
