These boys just want to play ball. All they can do is focus on that.

Don't get upset over these coaches anymore. It's completely useless. We know who they are now.

These young players need our support. They chose UT, when they could have went somewhere else.

I think you can tell by the team GPA that the program as a whole has come long way.

We have a bunch of good kids. We just lost one of them. But it was for the best.

Give credit to Butch for building something with great potential. But he really really needs to hire an offensive coordinator WITH head coaching experience.

I will settle for an OC who calls plays that pick up positive yardage. Lane Kiffin has HC experience, and anyone dumb enough to want him back needs to be keel hauled by the Vol Navy.

It really really isn't Debord.

How do I put this...

There is a comfort level players reach with coaches. Its built off mutual trust and success of taught knowledge.

You will never see Butch call plays.

Yet you have "seen" Butch call plays for 3 plus years.

There is a huuuuge vacuum in trust when it comes to the offense, but the structure is built in such a way that you don't know who is really accountable..

- Dobbs is the "CEO". Right?
Yet never audibles. Still can't read defenses.
- Debord is the OC, but this isn't his offense. Also, do you think Debord would be okay with no QB coach? Look into who QB coach was at Michigan while he was there.

- Butch gives responsibility to others, but it can be argued that its because he won't take responsibility for "his" offense.


I can't tell you all how I bad I feel for these kids right now.

Dobbs AND Hurd were the biggest reasons for the turnaround. And these coaches don't have the structure or knowledge to help them be successful long term.

I'm not going to disagree that Butch needs to ditch the read option and bring in another coach to run an updated package against high level competition. But this hot garbage about the coach maliciously 'ruining' careers is make believe nonsense being pushed on impressionable kids. Some of those connected but outside the program need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask what kind of person they are for sabotaging the program.
