Whoever it may be, Venables, Tucker, Steele, or whoever.

We made our voice heard about Schaino & stopped the fiasco from happening.

If you believe what the "experts" are saying. Tomorrow Wednesday the 6th we will have our new coach.

So that's 14 days before the early signing day, & a official visits this weekend.

Stop with the whining(if your guy wasn't the coach chosen) & get behind the new staff an show these future Volunteers & coaching staff the we support them an are behind them 100%.

All I know is Phillip is trying to do the best for the program. He knows what it takes to win in the SEC. I believe he’s trying to give us that best opportunity with the resources available.

I will not support Steele. Would be the worst hire in the history of Tennessee football.

Uhhh, let me get back with you on the whole “blindly support whatever tier 2 coach that’s trotted out” thingy. We’ve seen this movie before.

I'll support the Vols (always have, always will). I just won't expect much and won't spend every Friday driving from Michigan to be there on Saturdays.

It's not like I'm gonna be a Bama fan, but if I think the hire is awful I'm gonna say it.

If the hire is one of the three finalists that are rumored, the hire is awful.

I guess it wouldn't be such a bad thing, you know, just saying...the new coach might EARN support based on the product that he puts on the field as opposed to just flying in, borrowing an orange tie, trying to pronounce Vols a time or two, and walking up to the podium and announcing his recruiting prowess while introducing his wife by saying "I wasn't her first choice either!"

Oh heyell naw! OP makes good sense. I'll give him that, but I been supporting lame-o coaches for too long. I'm all beat up and worn down by the losing hyenas we been supporting for way too many years. So Ima support holding all their feet to the fire, keeping "i"sdotted, "t"s crossed, ducks in a row, can of whup@ss open.

Everyone is welcome to do what they want. I won't riot or protest publicly if I don't like the hire...and it is looking like that will be the case. I will just pack up my vol stuff, put it in the attic and see you all in 3 years for the next coaching search.

dont tell people how to 'fan', being a fan is organic, the fanbase showed up big for losers like dooley and butch, they dont need you to dictate how they choose to express themselves

Nope. I would have. We had Leach. Fulmer stabbed that deal in the back. If we hire less than Leach (pun intended), I'm going full Braveheart on UT sports.

I’m willing to wait and see but that’s it.

No blind support and no trust this time.

Make big plays, land recruits, win games you’re not favored in, and develop top tier talent. I care too much to support mediocrity.

I prefer a big name proven winner but if the schools too cheap, Fulmer isn’t good enough, or UT is just a sh!t job that no one wants I’m willing to give a bargin bin bum a shot for a time.

How long depends on several factors.
