Ok, I'm not usually one to believe in all this stuff but I might be on to something. I decided the day before the cal game that I wanted to do something that would embarass my girlfriend. So, Friday morning, I shaved the number 10 on the top of my head and told her that doing so would help UT dominate Cal in the opener. I didn't do this for the AF game and the game almost turned out devastating. I've already decided that come friday the #10 is going back on the top of my head! LOL! We'll see how it does this time!

Ah, everyone has got them. I used to wear the same hat every football Saturday unti l last year's debacle of a season. It had lost its mojo so now I have a new one just like it to change the luck. I do wear the same orange polo shirt that I have worn for every game except one since the 1998 season. Which game did I not wear it for? The freaking Peach Bowl versus Maryland when we got beat by a damn ACC team.

I wish I had enough hair to shave a number in the top of it.

My good luck is a hat too. I gave up the one from last year as well. Just wasn't a good one. I like my new one. So far so good.

I try not to be superstitious... it always seems to turn into bad luck.

Yeah, vader beat me to it, so I put a different spin on it.

Yeah, now if I just had something to rid me of those terrible memories...

I just might have the tailgate setup in the works that will do the job. We're going all out for this one, my friend. I just cleaned up a Direct TV dish, and we now have the inverter and box. The tent will be purchased Wednesday. Oh, and your friend JD will definitely be in attendance.

I wear UT shorts and a UT shirt to bed the night before the game. Since I'm essentially sleeping during the game, I'm showing my Orange Pride during the game. I couldn't wear it if I could watch the game anyways...I'd have to be in uniform.

Normally, my only superstition is to wear orange, and a lot of it.

Ever since I can remember my dad put a UT hat on top of the tv for the games so ever since I've had my own house I do the same. It does tend to get thrown every once in awhile. I guess it's Better to throw a hat than some of the things I read in the losing your cool thread.

Kiddiedoc, great to meet you the other day and I'll be looking forward to tailgating with you guys on Saturday.

I have the 2004 and 1998 Florida ticket stubs in my wallet, they will be there until the final whistle.

Earlier this summer...I found online some ORANGE briefs and undershirts....and they are the UT ORANGE. So not only do people see the orange I'm wearing, I have on orange they can't see.

I have been superstitious in the past. But this year I have decided that nothing I do decides the outcome of the game. So this year I have decided to give up superstitions and getting mad when things go bad. (Lost it a couple of times during the AF game.. ) We'll see if it lasts.

Wear the same Vol jersey and visor. If they are doing bad I may take visor off or on. Silly *ss stuff but can't help myself during the game. Also do shots for TD's with family who will at my house this weekend for game.

I have a orange tie-dyed shirt with a power T on it that I bought on the strip immediately before the 1998 Florida game. I've worn it for every Florida game since. I know it hasn't always worked, but I'm hoping there's still a little magic left in it on Saturday.

Same here... except I'll still get mad.

Same adidas polo for every game as well as the same shorts. Even got some game day shoes. Like was mentioned previously I had a hat I wore every Saturday but that has been retired due to last season. Wore a new one to the Cal game.... you can be sure I'll be wearing it Saturday!

As a kid I wore orange socks every gameday, back in the times of Manning and Martin. The day of the Cal game I bought a pair of argyle orange and white socks and wore them for the first time, and I think I will wear those every gameday from now on. I also try to go to the Vol Walk every Gameday and stand near the torchbearer and slap hands with the players and coaches. It makes me feel better knowing I have touched them.

Also, in the shower on a gameday I sing Fight Vols Fight and Down the Field over and over again.

My wife and I do shots for TDs as well. We are going to the game this weekend. My first live game since the FL game in 94! I can't wait, but the shots might not be possible in Neyland. IIRC there are no drinks in the stadium.
