I feel like IM3 wasn't as bad as we remember, but the Mandarin twist really screwed it up for most of us.

I don't read the comics so I don't know anything about The Mandarin, i liked the twist.

That doesn't make it overrated though, it's pretty universally disliked.

I honestly think many viewers of these movies have never read the comics or even grew up with the cartoons.

I have a lot of issues with Marvel on how they hsve powered up guys and powered down guys just to fit the movies.

They made captain America stronger than the hulk on the last avengers.

Hulk gets pummeled but cap can hold Thanos hand from moving.

Nowhere in the comics was captain ever as strong as the Hulk, not even close.

Even when they had the dc marvel cross over, marvel would not allow Superman to actually defeat the hulk. He just dropped a mountain on him and left.

This is again Superman.

I mean, most of us didnt read Iron Man as kids from what I remember. Honestly I don't remember the Avengers being super popular in my group of friends. Cap and Hulk sure, but it was mostly X-Men or Spiderman being the ones we talked about most.

Batman Returns was far too campy IMO. I remember thinking they could have done so much better. And they continued to go downhill with the sequels.
