My aunt had degrees from UT, Florida, and FSU. It was an odd combination during football season.
That’s funny! I have I have degrees from the SEC, B10 and ACC-UT, Iowa and UVA. Throw in my husband, B12-Texas. Sporting events in my household can be a little competitive at times and UT, the only UT, has the proper shade of orange🧡

that was a must game for me back home in bummerland since they are my two favorite ACC schools. Rode with the devils in wake of Omaha drought and had feared the frosh closer had blown it.

But I'd been pulling for Cavs has they ponied up some money when I was applying for college

I feel ya! Never thought I’d end up in Iowa, but as you said, they ponied up the most money. Iowa City was a place I enjoyed, but WAY too far away from the South and more importantly, the ocean!

did you go there for the writing program? I grew up in Maryland, Tennessee and NC and wound up stuck in tuskalooser. My son was seriousy considering Iowa for grad school. Good news is that a week on the beach is nearly at hand

Odd IS the word for it in mine. Late father has two UT degrees (plus short sting teaching on the West End). Mom went to Auburn and graduated from UT, brother all Orange, wife is Bama grad, soe went to Rhodes, WashU and flies a Bama flag , all five first cousins are UT grads and their kids attended UT, Georgia and Alabama. Somewhere back there was a great or great-great grandmother who got her degree from Columbia (NYC)

That makes me dizzy reading all that. 😁

No, that should be obvious, my writing is horrendous! Their writing program is quite renown. I went for a masters in physiology/sports med and had a teaching assistantship.

After looking at the stats that Oral Roberts has put up this season, it's hard to believe my Ducks have a chance tonight. Weather is cool 70, cloudy and certainly not humid like southern and eastern venues. Perfect weather for a game.

GoDucks!!
