I for one am excited about this hire if it is Sunseri then it will have been Dooleys best hire yet. CSS will recruit and coach like no other here. Exciting things to come on the hill. GBO. VFL:hi:

I have confirmed Sal Sunseri to Tennessee, per a source close to Sunseri. It's a done deal.

I am not disagreeing that Sal may be a better fit than Shannon, but Shannon is proven and people generally know he is a good DC and what type of D he will run. Sal to me can be a good DC, just not proven. That is why I am saying this isn't a home run. I hope he turns out great, but not ready to pronounce him an upgrade over the previous DC and I was definitely not a Wilcox fan.

On the bright side Hart knows him better than anyone else and saw something in him to make him target number 1 on the DC search. In a few weeks I will drink some orange Dool-aid and get on board.

I'm so glad we can get to recruiting now I just don't know about Sal, everybody's screamin 3-4 I doubt he runs it that was Saban's scheme, some ppl are forgetting he was a lb's coach not the D coord. But hey I back 110% GO VOLS dammit!!!! Get them bama boys to sway and come are way.

Congrats to CSS. Has been a loooong process evidently but I'm good with the hire. Glad to have the ups and downs of the last two weeks behind.
