And to be fair, the refs were NOT going to let DWade lose the Finals that year.

Look for that to happen next time Lebron makes it to the finals.. Also the utter dominace of the Lakers and Spurs this decade has been annoying.

We'll see.

I'm not too sure of the relationships LBJ has with referees in the game. I do know that Wade understands how to work the refs.

Any predictions for tonight? Who is watching?

After watching the first half I'm more convinced than ever that Steve Nash and Stoudamire both will never even sniff the finals unless they're surrounded by some of the greatest defenders in the league.

Agreed. I like gentry as a coach and think that Phoenix is better than when dantoni was there, but 1) they are still an offense-first team and 2) I'm not sure that nash could play point for a championship team as he always has been and always will be a liability on d. Purely on the offensive end he may be one of the greatest PGs in NBA history but that's not enough if 40 different guards in the association can blow by him with ease.

Lakers trying to close this one out now. Up 11. I hate the Lakers.

Generally can't stand them, but they have by far the better team. Their owner paying Kiffin's buyout solidifies me as a hater until they have a prominent Vol on the roster.

They definitely have the better team.

Looks like it's 2-0.... In both series.

Amare Stoudemire is the biggest defensive liability on the Suns by far. It just seems like he doesn't try. He was my favorite player before this game, but now I'm rethinking.

I have the least respect for Amare out of almost any player in the association.

I really like Amare too, but it's painfully obvious that he doesn't play d or rebound anywhere near his capabilities.

I wish they would just hand LA the hardware and get this crap off my SportCenter.

Yes. Not sure how he became a favorite.

His ferocious dunks and the fact that he plays for my favorite team are really the only reasons. It's also fun to see him develope a jump shot, but his lack of ability (effort) in rebounding and defense is driving me nuts. The Suns may be better off without him. They've made it this far without him anyways.

I get it, but he's a cancer type.

it amazes me how bad of a rebounder amare is. Also, the suns only get one game out of this series at the most.
