Sunday Predictions -- week 2

Prediction #1 -- Vols will be ranked top 15 by both AP and Coaches. Setting up a nice little showdown in Athens this coming Saturday.

Prediction #2 -- ESPN FPI will suddenly have us favored to win 5 games this season, instead of the 3 they started us with. More the fools they; we're winning at least 7.

Prediction #3 -- Josh Pate, he of "take Mizzou and the points" fame, will suddenly be a Vols fan. He will even say that it's anyone's game this coming weekend. He'll be right about that, but it won't be because he saw it coming from a distance. Fella's edges are fraying.

Prediction #4 -- the Dawg fans on VN.com will be very quiet this week. They skurred.

Prediction #5 -- Vols win, 17-16.

#1 I agree the Vols should be at or very near 15 just based on who lost this weekend.

#2 ESPN FPI updated this last week to already make UT favorites against UK. I would guess we see more movement against Auburn and A&M this week to at least make them closer.

#3 I don't know Josh Pate and honestly don't care what he thinks.

#4 UGA fans are proud and as the game nears they will become more confident and start talking just as our fan base will.

#5 I like your prediction of a Vol win but I believe you have the score too low (JMO). As of now temp in the mid 70's and no wind is the forecast weather wise so I would add a few scores and go 27-24 Vols.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tennessee pull the upset. I doubt Georgia brings the same intensity that they did for Auburn, and then they have Bama the week after. Sets up nicely for an upset special.

I think we are ranked 16

I think Pate says if coach drink had started Brazelton, MO would have pulled the points.

I think GA D is real and they limit our run game.

GA fans are boasting and cocky after their easy win over Auburn.

Low scoring game that GA wins 17-13 on a lucky long pass.

Prediction #1 --We move up in both AP and Coaches. But the Barn and Texas A&M still ranked above us. Stupid voters.

Prediction #2 -- Massey's Rating will favor us to win 6 games this season, now favoring us over UK and A&M. To heck with ESPN.

Prediction #3 -- Josh Pate learns betting for or against the VOLS is perilous.

Prediction #4 -- Dawg fans on VN.com will NOT be quiet this week, it is in their nature to bark. They are still glowing over their defeat of an over rated Barn.

Prediction #5 -- VOLS win, 34-31. Dawgs thinking about Bama not the VOLS. Cimaglia is 100% for the day.

ESPN has TN at 27 for FPI. Doesn’t show the W/L right now.

Currently, Overall efficiencies is 8th in the nation. 8th on offense, 21st on defense, and 37th for special teams.

If Tennessee scores 28 or more they have an excellent chance of winning
