Good for Billy. I think he is an excellent coach and can continue the success of James Madison which has developed a superb program.

Yep I thought this section was for any news outside of UT. Seems like Napier and James Madison qualify.

Why is that a comparison? Napier in NO way matches the classlessness of Jones. I commend Billy for getting out and getting a job ASAP. It shows he believes in himself as a coach and he truly loves coaching. Butch on the other hand, chose to milk every dime from the UT while taking an errand boy job for Saban, because Butch knew he didn't have real coaching talent and could never build his brand into anything again.

Spurrier and Tebow made FL look like a much better job than it is.

And yes I said Football baby Jesus and not Urban. Minute Tebow was leaving the heart issues started. Never had those in the Big chit nor since.

Since Tebow left they have not done much and the hiring shows it.

Because for 5 years we've(Volnation) been in love with Sun Belt Billy and how bad he's been. Geez !

Ole Miss is the only one that is really a head scratcher, though it's Kiffin so not really. Timing sucks but LSU is still a better job than OM.

The other 3 potential playoff teams are all Group of 5 coaches (Tulane, North Texas, James Madison) and no offense to those schools but they are stepping stone schools so losing their coach isn't really that suprprising even considering all 3 had a shot at the G5 spot.

Florida has never won a championship of any kind without Spurrier or Meyer. Two of the greatest coaches who ever lived.

People act like Florida is some historically great program where it’s so easy to win. But outside of those two legendary (and revolutionary) coaches, they’ve won nothing.
