This is my set. I love playing cornhole, it is such a great combination with beer. GO VOLS!!

Very nice. My design also includes a Power T on them but I am not sure how I should paint them on there. How did you go about doing them?

I drew out the design first, which took forever, and then I taped it off and spray painted it. I used rustoleum paint so they could take a beating and also if they got wet they would have some protection. I would just be careful how thick you put on the paint because it can make the boards kind of slippery. How are you going to make your bean bags? I got mine off of a website and they are white and orange and they look great. Make sure and put a pic up of your set when your are finished I would like to see them. Hope all goes well. GO VOLS!!

So you drew them straight on the boards and then taped them? I'm just going to make my own bags. I was going to get some orange and white fabric and sew them myself. And I will for sure get some pictures up when I'm finished, it might be another week or two by the time I am finished though.

Yeah I drew the T's on both bords using pencil and a straight edge. It took forever to make them both looked the same and also centered on the board like I wanted them to be. It all payed off though because they have brought me much joy so far this summer.:)

For my power T's on my boards, I just went to the flea market, and got large cornhole vinyl stickers that work great. I highly recommend them.

I am trying FO. CO., my buddy still has them at his house, I have to get them still, and I promise you, the day I get them back I will take a picture and upload them on here.

I am about to start making another Tennessee cornhole set to keep down at the lakehouse in Tennessee and for all tailgating purposes at home games. I am going to do a different design, but haven't thought of one yet.

I know, kind of scares you when you see that term, no?

I first saw them up at Notre Dame years ago. I assumed it was a yankee thing. I have seen a few at tailgates in Knoxville, but assumed they were being used by transplanted yankees. At least one history gives them a Cincinnati origin, but does say perhaps the foothills of Kentucky.

I guess they have more universal popularity than I assumed.

I Like To Play Cornhole But Washers (aka: Warshers, For Some Of Us) Is Harder. Just Really Hard To Dig A Hole And Set Up For Washers Anywhere. Campus Police Don't Like It If You Decide To Dig A Hole In The Keep Off The Grass Area. Cornhole Is Easy To Set Up At A Tailgate Party, Plus There Should Be No Sharp Objects Attached To A Stick When Alcohol (aka: Alkeehol) Is Involved.

Horseback? On a serious note, I do have an original set of Jarts lawn darts in excellent condition in my garage. These are the real deal, skull crackers. I can't imagine pulling those things out for a tailgate.

I gave my cousin 5 stitches in his lip playing with those when I was like 6. I cant image what would happen if I was to play with those while drinking. Good thing I dont own a set.:good!:

I don't know that I'd want to play with them under any circumstances. I couple of years ago I thought about getting rid of them (for money) and I learned that it is illegal even to sell them used in the U.S. although you can get a tidy sum for a set in parts of Europe.

Man what a bad invention this game was. Throwing oversized darts out in the open is just crazy.

love cornhole, the only problem is, every cornhole game I've played have been OSU. I still had a good time.

That isn't necessarily a bad thing...

Tennessee boards are the best, but OSU's aren't bad.

Wow, those look great FO CO. I bought the wood and hardware for my second set of boards today and I am about to start them here soon.

That is the same design I had planned on using for my second set, and I am just curious, when throwing on them, is it a little too much for the eye or is it good?

On a side note, I need to post my pic!

cornhole was a completely different concept in my day. I'm glad to see that it's taken on a new meaning.
