What is this Start a Conversation thing in the Inbox? I get an “oops, not have permission” when I choose it. Is it something that will be enabled later?

He might enable it later, when things get going. For now it’s just for warnings and important messages.

Just wanted to stop in and let everyone know that I really appreciate all the feedback so far. Honestly it’s all a bit more than I expected, but there is a lot of very valid feedback in this thread.

After some long nights leading up to the conversion, and about a 72+ hour stretch with no sleep during the conversion, I decided to spend a few days out of town. That means although I’ll be checking in and reading feedback, it will likely be several days before I have the chance to get started on working out the issues brought to my attention in this thread. And I still have some server/database issues to deal with first that require my immediate attention.

I wrote all that to say: please be patient. If you don’t see me addressing your suggestions immediately, it doesn’t mean I’m ignoring them. With the season quickly approaching its going to be even more taxing. But I’ll get there, I promise, it just won’t all happen overnight. I can assure you, however, that I’m committed to getting at least 1% better every day. (Too soon?)

I appreciate all you guys. Y’all are the best.

Would it be possible to move the report button to the bottom center and make it look like a button? Maybe it’s just me, but I read it as part of every post. Making me crazy trying not to! 🤪

Good news. I had a few minutes tonight and confirmed that all of everyone’s likes DID convert over and ARE in the database. The numbers from the old database and the new database match exactly.

That means I can bring them back. But I’d like to figure out what’s causing them not to count before I do that.

So remain calm everyone. You’ll get every single like back that you earned. 😬

Shortcuts between forums in a dropdown format from the Forums button up top. Basically eliminating the step of going to the main forum page.

Love the new site. Thanks for putting so much work into it!
