Ok, I like to drink.

I like mainly whiskey but have found I like the 80 proof coconut rum from Captain Morgans alot. It's very tasty.

Now, the problem is I am looking for a good sugar free pina-colada mix to go with my Rum.

Anyone know of one or any other sugar free mixers?

Cheers for any help.

Maybe look for some next to your purse.

It's a man bag.

:)

On a serious note, I do like Pina-coladas. It makes me feel less like a lush when I'm out with my wife's friends.

I used to drink straight up jack or crown with a water back and her friends would look at me like I was a wino. I found it more socially acceptable if I'm getting bombed on party drinks.

Cruzan and Coke Zero. The fun drunk you get from rum, without drinking something that makes people assume you take caulk in the 5 hole.

Does your wife know? :whistling:

I think your problem is going to be that all those fruity girly drinks are is sugar, which is why they give ya a tummy ache after only a couple.

Also, why not just drink the regular sugary pina colada mix? Are you diabetic? In which case, I would encourage not drinking.

No. Just watching my weight.

I don't get belly aches.

I'm a mix between german, native american, irish, and scotch. I could drink most gorwn men under the table by the time I was 15.

I just don't wanna get fat.

Can't imagine anyone making a sugar free mixer...but I have been suprised before. If you don't drink regularly you will not notice any significant weight gain. If you are worried about gaining weight by drinking alcohol, just drink as much as you want, then in the morning jog/run it all out.

Seriously NEOCON, drink whatever the hell you want too and in the morning/afternoon take a jog. No matter how hungover you are, it is the key to being a life long drinker, whick I am and will be.

It sucks ass sometimes to run, but just do it..

I run 25 minutes a day. I am a gym rat. I am looking for a sugar free because I do drink regularly and I dont want to gain any weight. I have only been hung over once in my lifetime also. I was 16 and drank a 5th of jack straight. I felt horrible for a week. That is the only time I have ever been hung over.

The problem is I will be on my fourth jack and coke when they are still on their first and it just makes my wife mad. I feel I can triple shot a pina colada because the glass is bigger and I can just drink 2 or 3 for the night and she'll be happy. This has alot more to do with my wife being pissed than anything else.

I found a sugar free whiskey sour drink at Publics a few months ago. I have been using that for all of my whiskey sours now. They do exist. Just dont know if they make a pina-colada one.

I take it nobody knows, huh.

You could always drink what you want and then stick your fingers down your throat at the end of the night.

So, you're looking for a sugar-free pina coloda mix to keep the weight off and not piss off your wife? This may be the wrong forum, Barbara.

Option 1: You could Google "sugar free pina colada mix" and see what pops up.

Let me google that for you

Option 2: Man up and drink what you want.

Option 1) I did and found many. Was hoping someone would actually give me a pro or con of one.

Option 2) I'm married. I stopped doing what i want years ago. I'm amazed I am still allowed to dress myself which is becoming a daily fight within itself.

its nearly impossible to find a sugar free pina colada mix cosidering it is mostly pineapple juice. Fruit juices have lots of sugar in them. i'm sure there are some "no sugar added" ones but you'll never find a sugar free pina colada mix. unless its completely unnatural

a friend of mine who is an experienced bartender advised me:

Don't mix sugar-free stuff with alcohol. Alcohol is a very complex sugar by itself and it doesn't mix well with artificially sweetened products. That's one reason why diabetics are advised to drink in moderation, since alcohol in any form can, and will, have an impact on our blood glucose levels.

Basically, you're not doing yourself any favors and you're also destroying perfectly good booze.
