think about it,if we was fair weathered fan,we would've jumped ship years ago.
today was a tough loss, but this was supposed to be a rebuilding year from the beginning. i didn't expect cutcliffe to come in and immediately take us to glendale for the national title. i thought it was a much better improvement over 5-6 last year and we should continue to get better for next year.
I believe we can find 105,000 real fans to fill the stadium. If you don't like it find you different team. Sure I don't like to lose but you cant win them all. If your team won every game every year what would the purpose of watching.

You call consistent mediocrity a little thing? Once again I will reiterate this FACT. If Stoerner does not stumble and fumble in 98 we do not even get a sniff of a NC. Mediocrity will have you asking "would you like fries with that"? Do you expect your team to compete for either a National or SEC championship every year? If you say no then your expectations are mediocre. I also dont consider someone to have high expectations then be disappointed by their teams effort to be a fair weather fan. I would say that fan knows the game and knows their team is capable of much more. ever since 2000 we all know our teams have been capable of much more. So why must we settle for mediocrity and excuses. I would bet that most that have that wait till next year attitude are also Cub fans..Which by the way got an ass-kicker in Lou Pinella and I can guarantee you he will get results..well some of yal just try to find any little thing to get yals spoon out and start stirring the pot
