I think he will be in the pressbox just like a lot of DC's. Most of the technique and play memory comes from practice and classroom work and thats something players should know before the games. I couldn't see any reason he would want to be on the sideline. That's what assistants are for. I would think most DC's would want to be in the pressbox so that they can see the whole field instead of a view from the side. (just my opinion)

This should be a year when we can start to substitute players more often as a result of having more talent from the previous years. But remember, we're still a young team overall compared to all others but most of our younger players have a couple of years experience compared to the other sophmores and juniors around the country. Basically, I'm saying that the team is young but most of the guys already have a couple of years playing experience. (not making excuses) Should be able to win at least 9 this year.

With the schedule we have 8 wins is doable, maybe maybe 9.Just a little strange how GA got blasted for having a cake walk schedule last year and again this year, but we get alot easier one this year and some how if we win 8 or 9 it makes us so much of a better team.

Not saying we won't be a lot better, just funny to see how the grass is always greener on this side of the fence.

As far as substitutes, he will likely sub when players are tired, and more frequently on the dline to keep them fresh. He occasionally puts a kicker in at MLB when his team has a sizable lead just for the hell of it.

I see your point however Ga has a history of having a gravy schedule. Plus They squander away more talent than Texas and thats why they catch a little flak over their schedule. I see what your saying though.

i know to alot of people this seems like another sunseri thread but i think this is important because i really think there is a lack of energy on the sideline thats why i really would like to see steele for LB coach because he is very energetic and keeps guys goin on the sideline.. i blame the arkansas game last year 100 % on the coaches

I heard that he is the modern male. Dressed in fine threads, pinstriped, of course. Fingernails are well attended to, but not overtly so, like a woman. Shoes are Italian leather. TIFWIW

hes never been a d coordinator so nobody knows yet. not being a smarta**. its just the question is unanswerable.
i would think he would be upstairs as most coordinators are(to see the whole field). with the talent were bringing in i think he will sub quite a bit. except aj johnson and maggit. they arent coming off the field unless they are gassed

agreed , do we know if he is going to run a 3-4 or 4-3, will it be complex like bama or basic until enough talent is in the mix to change things up. player scheme versatility is important.

We'll still be nowhere near alabama's depth, but we'll be twice as deep as we were last year. The difference should palpable, for sure.

Regarding the schedule, our schedule is still murderous this year. It's just not as bad as last year's slaughterhouse schedule.

It's doable.

p.s. Sal will be upstairs.
