Just heard this joke today on the ESPN Radio The Herd. What do you call a Tennessee Defense? Nothing, because no one (nobody) has seen it all year. Very professional.

He is pathetic! He just likes to rile up large fanbases like ours and yours. Stop listening to him is my advice.

What's unprofessional about it? He's a sports radio host. He's supposed to say these sorts of things.

Cowherd is the biggest joke in radio. Why do you even listen to that crap to begin with?

Cowherd is funny. He gets that he is a goofball doing sports radio and that his job is not to be an expert, just to be interesting.

another classic example of the fact that UT football is nothing more than our little sister. We make fun of it all the time and complain, but the moment someone else does (especially that big mean bully known as ESPN does) we cry foul and get all mad.

I think it's funny. GA is right. Cowherd knows he's a goofball with the job of a lifetime and he eats it up. I haven't seen our defense all year either.

And it's not like he doesn't have a point.... If he were to say "UT fans are nothing more than ignorant rednecks that got lost in their trailer park trying to find the game" I would be a little ticked. But that was a fair shot taken by a guy who is paid to entertain.

By posting this, you gave Cowherd exactly what he wanted. He does make a good point though, although I can't stand the guy personally, he just grates on the nerves...

Well said. It's funny how some of our "fans" can constantly bash CFP and our current status in football but as soon as the media does it's a crime. I don't always agree with Cowherd but overall I think he does a good job of what he's getting paid to do which is give opinions.

if cowherd said this about michigan, bama, notre dame, or florida (if they ever get in that position again) everyone on here would be laughing.

Its sorta like family, we can have our differences and maybe call one another disparaging names, but let an outsider do it and you'll get the whole family on your rear.

I personally think Cowherd is very good at what he does and I enjoy listening to him. He hardly ever says anything that is not true, whether we like it or not. He was ripping Alabama/Saban yesterday for his comment about South Florida and their players, which Saban deserved, and today he rips our defense, which they deserve. I see nothing wrong with him speaking his mind. He is supposed to be controversial.

That's a great analogy.
