Hey guys I was wondering what time people usually get there to getthe arena to be able to sit down close. I was hoping to go to the baseball game that starts at 11 30, but I was just wondering how early I needed to be at the Basketball game. I usually do not get to go on Saturday's due to other obligations so if anyone knows I would greatly appreciate it.

Depends on the game, but I usually get there in between 1 and 3 hours before gates open. However, for the KY game, I'll probably go down at about 3:00.

Yeah it really depends on the game. For the Vanderbilt game, which is the one I am assuming you're talking about, I think you can get away with being there an hour early. I'd shoot for 11:30 though, when the doors open. It being an early Saturday morning game, I think it's going to be hard for some kids to get up if you know what I mean...

I got one more question for you all. Once you get into the arena with your id, do they check it again as you go down to get your seat? Like as you go down next to the court? THanks.

Yes, but only sort-of. Pretty much if you show them ANY student id, they'll let you in. Rarely do they actually look to see if it's you.
