Student Tickets

Everyone pretty much squeezes in the student section. Your friend should just buy the cheapest scalper ticket and sit w/you. Someone may ask you to move if you don't have a ticket for that section, particularly at halftime when everyone sits down, but it's really not a big deal.

And no, you cannot acquire a student ticket unless you're a student or a spouse of one.

Or something like that. I know spouses get some sort of deal or something, not sure if it's a student ticket or in the student section or what.

That's so stupid to keep changing it. If it goes game by game then how will you be able to get seats for friends. People can't take 8 credit cards to the ticket office. Also if the tickets are more then $8 then they would of raised the prices again which is BS. Its sad that hamilton is screwing the students. The sport is their for the students. (Well supposed to be). Its crazy thati have to pay for football but nothing else.

Not to throw a stick into your bicycle wheel there, but you could never pay by credit card at the student ticket office. Cash only.

I don't know what to tell you. Football costs money, and well, students more often than not can spot a few bucks for a game. Free is great, but so is having seats that people would gladly pay a $2000.00 donation for. I'm sure they could work something out to where students could keep free tickets, but be in the top 30 rows of the stadium, in the end zone. I'd rather pay 10.00 a game, or whatever, and sit in Section D Row 4.

college sports ceased to be "for the students" a long, long time ago. If it was funded by students we would have some folding chairs and a couple ratty couches for seating

if we're spending so much on renovations/new facilities that we have to charge the students, then we're overdoing it, imo... the students/parents already get gigged every year to the tune of 10% tuition increases.... when the haslam, thornton, jones, goodfriend, etc. $$ runs out each year, then postpone renovations/expenditures that you can't afford..
