Student tickets

Ughhh....what does that mean? So, if you take 5 classes a semester, you get better seats than someone who only takes 3?

They told us at my daughter's orientation that the students that buy more tickets get better seats.....doesn't mean much to the freshmen but might get some traction by your junior year.

students can get 1 guest ticket like you said but it costs retail value around $70 cheaper to buy a cheap uperdeck ticket then sneak her down

you can actually buy your girlfriend a guest volcard which is the student ID. then she gets student priced football tickets and gets in free to all other sports.. it tells more about it if you go to uttix.com and sign in as a student with the same username and password as you would on tmail..

I don't believe that is correct. I think it needs to be a spouse in order to qualify for the guest card.

I don't know. In the Auburn game last year I got what I thought were pretty good seats, we were just a few rows up from the sideline. As in I could yell to Eric Berry and he could hear me. But there were a lot of students cramming down there who didn't have tickets there and it got pretty uncomfortable. Luckily all of them left by the third quarter.

Would they actually check? My gf goes to ut and I do not. So I'm interested in this route.

Get 4 tickets:

1 for you
1 for your wife
1 for your girlfriend
1 for your mistress

Hopefully, they never meet.

She can get you a guest pass for every game. Its usually around $70 and sometimes cheaper for games that are not that big of a deal ...hope that helps you out.

$70 per game for a "guest pass?" Are you serious? :jawdrop: That better be some kind of guest for that much bling.

Making students pay for tickets is rediculous IMO.. They are already paying thousands to go to the school, why not just give them free tix.

They used to be free until we fired Fulmer, then the next year we started paying for them. Sucks!!!

I like sitting in the student section every now and then near some crazy drunk sorority chicks---they eventually like to sit on your lap---which is OK with me.
That's kind of sad if that's the only way you can get a girl to sit in your lap. BTW, did your mom get mad?:)

I think we all should get our money back for that embarrassment of a season.

Agreed

The Wyoming game in particular was very embarrassing. I didn't leave so near the end of the game I was the only one left in my entire section for about 4-5 rows.

I think the guests tickets are just face value if I remember correctly what my sis told me. Which would be $70 for some games.
