I'll go off the times from last year, and zach was not the fastest.

Rogers has comparable speed. He may not be faster, but he would be right there. His HS time that I have seen for the 100 is 10.74, one would think he would be a little faster now after 4 years in a college S & C program.

Q Watson ran his 100 in 10.54 for first place in Georgia this past year. Already faster than White Lightning.

I'm not hating on Rogers speed because he is fast, just not the fastest as some claim.

Aye. He averaged 10.68. If I had to guess, Rogers would average in the high 10.7's. Maybe better, I don't know. It's really a matter of if he has gotten faster since HS, one would think he has some.

I can believe 4.3's, for a 220 pound guy that is moving either way. From what I could find, 39 people have ran official 40's under 4.3. I assume all laser timed.

In '08 Rogers took both the 100 & 200m TN titles. Just to drop names listed recently his times are better at both those distances than C Blanc, J Hunter or "Pig" Howard. He's pretty much a wash with Devrin Young at 100m (DY being faster at that distance than anybody else listed above) but has a better 200m than Young.

Having said all that Q Watson and C Patterson are at another level than anybody listed above in the speed dept.

I don't know about BS but when you consider that's more than .20 faster than his next fastest time I'm thinking wind played a role.

The amazing thing about CP is that if you throw out his best and worst times he's averaging low 10.6's. At his height and weight that's pretty amazing.

Wind or no wind ... that's blazing.

I read an interview where he said that participating in JUCO track helped develop his speed. I'll see if I can find it for you.
