Strips vs. Sure-tackling

Is it just me, or has Shoop taught this defense to always try to strip the ball? This seems to happen every play. No one goes for a good tackle, every player seems to be attempting a strip. :closedeyes:

I'm not complaining about the defense. Complaining that we focus too much on stripping the ball. It gave Bama a couple of first downs at least.

perfect example just now of not trying to tackle but trying to strip the ball instead.

WORST TACKLING TEAM I HAVE EVER SEEN.. HORRIBLE COACHING AT BEST! STRIP BALL WHEN UNEXPECTED, OTHERWISE TACKLE THE DAMN BALL CARRIER. SHeesh!
