Columbus, Indiana here, so I know quite a few Indiana fans. I like them more than Purdue fans (though my ex wife's family being huge Boilers fans probably helped that). My joke had been: How do you know if someone went to Purdue? Don't worry, they will tell you. This joke also seems to work with Ohio State fans, but thankfully there are far fewer of those around here.Is Jennings a break away speed type receiver or more of a crisp route running WR? Or Does he high point 50/50 balls? I haven’t seen him. So curious the type of receiver he is. You all are very high on him. Also why is he suspended for one half?
In regards to trey smith. He will have no trouble with our ends. Our interior d-line is serviceable.
As for Jennings, like others have mentioned, he is one of those WR whose whole is more than the sum of his parts. He may not have elite measurable, but his "willpower" overcomes any of those.
I would say Tennessee's biggest weakness is consistency. Almost every group can be really good, but also could be abysmal. QB is the most glaring if this, but WRs also dropped balls and failed to make plays and even "disappearing" for entire games almost. The freshman RB who had 200+ yards vs Vandy looked mediocre vs most of the rest of our schedule ( he had 30 yards rushing total for the previous 5 games). Our DBs can make great plays and then just totally blow a play. The team did get better in the latter half of the schedule with consistency, but it is still a team-wide issue.
