I think he will be good for us. South Carolina players look like they're in great shape. I think our players will benefit greatly from this hiring. I really want to see if he can do like the Florida S&C coach and make all our skill players super fast. Lol

Carolina players do look ripped after being in his system for a year or so. You also take in to account they can not recruit the cream of the crop, it makes it even more impressive.

No strength and conditioning coach made those guys fast, they were born that way. As to the point of the thread, I have no idea what we are getting in our new S+C guy but I hope it's more than what I saw while I was watching Shon Greene and the Hawkeyes run all over a gassed defense in the bowl game.

they were gassed cuz they were on the field for 90 percent of the game. eveytime they got off the field garcia would throw an interception and they would have to go right back on

That's partly true, but what's the Gamecocks offensive line's excuse ? they got manhandled from the opening whistle. Again I'm not saying it's a good or a bad hire, I'm just saying I haven't seen much to make me completely overjoyed at the hire. Hope it turns out to be a positive for us, the S+C coach is the most underrated and underappreciated spot on any coaching staff. I hope our new one gives me cause to appreciate his works.

Tommy Moffitt is supposed to be the best in the business. That didn't stop LSU from fainting all over the field when we played them in 2005. I don't think you can just look at one game.

Their excuse is talent. I think with some real conditioning and an attitude change our line will be very good this year.
