Strange, Uneasy Feeling About The Georgia Game

Negativity = Lose

Positivity = Win

Its as simple as that. The team, in this case, that believes they can win, will win.

Go Vols.

i expect georgia to play at a high level of intensity with kiffins quote on the bulletin board all week about how ut will never lose to georgia...these teams match up pretty evenly with an edge to georgia for home field..i hope ut is prepared for an inspired georgia team...otherwise it could be last years game all over again but georgia does the whoopin...

Nick Saban feels that Dooley will have some success as the HFC of Tennessee. I feel pretty good about that endorsement. Mark Richt, albeit a good start to his career, will be fired after this season. I feel like the hunger of our young coaching staff will rub off on the players and result in a W come Saturday. Dooley> Richt... any day of the week.

The UGA game is a recipe for disaster. Hungover an emotional loss to a big opponent, playing pretty good against a weaker UGA team so we automatically think it's a win, etc.

Now that I've said that I think the players might actually want blood after the LSU loss and Dooley is getting them fired up than we could imagine behind closed doors.

They're favored by 12 points. I don't see us being overconfident. I hope your latter comment is what's actually happening.

Hold up. You have a strange feeling we might lose on the road against a motivated team? Crazy talk.

What's so amazing is that UCF is beating UAB by 21-0 at half!!!! Hmmmm........ not a good sign. I thought UAB was better than that?

That's like explaining Virginia techs 0-2 start.... They are now 2-0 in the acc.... Every week, it's a different game.

Until our coach beats a team from a BCS conf I think we (read you and other goobs) should keep quiet about other coaches who have SEC titles and a winning record in the toughest conf in the nation.

Yeah like Fulmer? The similarities between him and Richt are numerous.

I don't share your worries....in fact I feel quite optimistic about this game

Georgia's terrible. They lost to a colorado team that got waxed by Cal by 45 points! UT should win that game by 10+.

We are terrible.

We went into OT at home against a UAB that was just waxed 42-7 by Central Florida.

We were out-gained 2 to 1 by an LSU team with a horrible offense.

There is a reason UT is a 12 point underdog. We are not good.

What is he supposed to say? "No, Dooley is gonna fail, I didn't teach him anything so he would fail." Saban said exactly what he is supposed to say. I don't much stock in his endorsement but I hope he is correct.

Derek Dooley learned for years under Nick Saban. Nick Saban is the best coach in college football. This certainly means something in my book.

Dooley or Richt, let me ask you?

What happened to that guy that had visions of Jesse Scroggins throwing TD's for the Vols? I would like to get his take on the game also.

He's having lunch with the guy that said Bryce Brown was returning to the team, John Gruden was the next coach at UT and his cousin, black jersey's for every home game.

@ what point(in the season) do we tap out mentally? Its going to get tougher and tougher, they've managed to get closer to a w each time, hope it continues. Did I mention I HATE UGA?

A loss to Memphis will be my breaking point.

my only concerns are that they have a 3-4 defense, they are in DESPERATE need for a win, and I'm not sure how we'll come out after such a deflating loss.

I personally have a bad feeling about this game as well. Georgia and Richt's backs are against the wall. They are in a must win situation. They are at home and we are coming off a really disappointing loss. I hope we pull it out, but to think we are going to go in there and take this game easily is a mistake. We will have to bring our A game to squeak this one out.

Perhaps some of the "things" that Dooley learned, that make Saben successful, cross an ethical boundry with Dooley....hence, CDD may never rise to the lofty ranks of the Sab.

I wasn't having a bad feeling about this game until I read the threads on here.
