ESPN did a story today and some strange/interesting stories in the 2012 season that is kind of neat in terms of pointless trivia. a few of my favorites.

• There was a rain delay in a domed stadium (in Milwaukee).
• The Pirates hit back-to-back homers that clanked off the same foul pole.
• Todd Frazier lost the grip on his bat in midswing and still hit a home run -- even though he wasn't holding the bat in his hands at the moment he hit it.
• In non-strikeout news, this man (Adam Dunn) hit his 30th homer this year before he hit his 30th single! And kids, all we can say is, don't try that at home.

and plently more about teams, games, pitchers, hitter etc.

The hunter pence broken bat double in the playoffs was ridiculous too. His bat literally made contact with the ball 3 separate times.

Then the ball had a wierd fade on it. That game was awesome.
