Straight up, now tell me: win or lose?

Floraduhh's Offense has scored a WHOPPING 3 POINTS this season. Yes, I know they did not play a cupcake Northern Colorado last week which means they will be extra rusty. Also, I doubt they have had a typical practice week with Hurricane Irma.

If the Vols can't take it to the slimy reptiles on Saturday and win by 2 scores then we may be in for a long season. With that said, I fully expect the Vols to roll. :good!:

Florida seems to suck against the teams they play every year just before we show up.

All of us get really confident that this is the year every single year.

And then the real Florida comes to play and they always find a way to beat us.

So, I can't bring myself to say TN wins.

Florida 27
Tennessee 23

I really hope the Vols win, but I am afraid the oddsmakers have it right and we lose by 3 to 5 points. My reasoning is that I think our offense will really struggle against their defense and our front 7 will allow them a few big plays in the running game. I also think we lose the turnover battle because our QB has not faced a defense like UF's before. I am not down on Dormady but this is really his first big test. I also actually think the intangibles favor UF. They have been hearing how they suck for two weeks and they will want to give their battered state a win. Of course, I hope I am wrong.

Loss unfortunately.
Our passing game seems to be all over the place and o-line still looks soft (other than T Smith and J Jones).
Have a feeling Florida's front seven may dominate our line - hope I'm wrong.
If offense can't move the ball, defense will be on the field way too much with limited depth on the line.
No confidence in our secondary to this point.

Hope we have seen the end of our d-line lining up a yard off the ball.

Hoping for the best but not a good feeling based on first 2 games.

Tennessee could win. I think they will win, but sadly it probably doesn't have the national relevance of the average ole miss/miss st game because neither team has even a remote chance of even influencing the national playoff.

The Gators along with Hillary are already planning to write a book after this one.

Your analogy is strange. One small difference with Florida losing is there is there won't be a Nacissicistic Sociopath hell bent on diverting every conversation to being about him, and wanting every bit of worlds attention to occupying the most powerful position on Earth.

I say Vols win a close shootout. I'm thinking 38-34 type game. Had UF played last week and not been through a hurricane and all that distraction, I'd lean UF, again in a bit of a shootout.

They will be rested, but also not up to game speed as they normally are after a tune up game.

Both teams looked ugly at times this year.

That ugly win in Atlanta will help our team a lot. They know how to win. They expect to win.

If our coaches can make the right calls, I think we will be okay. I worry about UF's speed on the edges though. They'll get a sweep or two for big gains. I think we hit a couple big plays too though.

Win.

"Straight Up" immediately started playing in my head when I read the thread title! LOL

im worried they will take 2 steps forward and we will take 2 steps back..... i call it a toss up , with the weather playing a big role this weekend

First offensive series. 1st down Kelly for 1 yard off the right side. 2nd down Dormady airmail a receiver so on to 3rd and 9. Another handoff to Kelly for a 2 yard loss. Crowd goes crazy. 4th down we punt of course. Nice 55 yarder but out kicks the coverage and Florida returns it for a big return. And unfortunately the guys get rattled. I see Florida looking like SEC front runners until after the game and their offense slips back into a coma. I just have an awful awful feeling about this game. I pray in wrong.

Vols win, go 3-0 to set up huge game with Georgia at Neyland in two weeks.
Florida falls to 0-2 for first time since 1971!

We lose big. And by big I mean 10-plus points. I hope I'm wrong but I've seen nothing that convinces me this team is ready to play big-time, hard hitting, gut-check SEC football. The defensive line, which by all accounts should be really good, is not.
Florida's defense is going to be good and their offense sufficient. Whomever stars at QB for Florida will have a career day against our defense unless they came come up with a genuine pass rush.

As ugly as my opinion is; You asked and there it is.
