Storming the field was fun against Bama. Let's make it the last time.

There is really nothing left to storm the field about. Unless it’s 15 years down the road before we beat Alabama again and by then, it will be forgotten.

Bama fans at this point might not agree, but really - it's a compliment. A buddy of mine, using all his mojo to woo woman asked her "hey, have you ever played strip poker?" Anticipating her saying "That sounds like a good idea", but instead she said "I never had to". Bama is like that. They've never had to. I don't want to see a day where they do that in Tuscaloosa against the Vols, (that would mean we lost an important game), but someday, if it happens, take it as a compliment.

Considering it has been 24 years between stormings, I think that is ok. Hopefully, we are never in a spot where we have been dominated by an opponent long enough where we feel the need to storm. Florida in 98 and Bama '22 were more about excorcising the demons. Hopefully, we never have those demons any more.

Was much worse in classical times. You didn’t want to be on the losing team for sure

Patton : The Carthaginians defending the city were attacked by three Roman legions. The Carthaginians were proud and brave but they couldn't hold. They were massacred. Arab women stripped them of their tunics and their swords and lances. The soldiers lay naked in the sun. Two thousand years ago. I was here.

It’s like an exclamation point and should be used for emphasis only.

However, I think the fines are stupid. Storm the field all you want but it will reduce its impact in the long run if a fan base does it too often.

I see what you are saying. I can't remember the last time we beat the SKYHAWKS.
Tennessee's all-time results against UT Martin

"Saturday will mark the second meeting between Tennessee and the Skyhawks and the first since 2010.

The Vols lead the all-time series, 1-0, defeating UT Martin, 50-0, Sept. 4, 2010 at Neyland Stadium.

The win was Derek Dooley’s first as Tennessee’s head coach."

UTM made some good plays, but could not score:
