If we beat them storm the field and frame the newspaper that the #18 team in the country went down in Knoxville. Seriously?

I'm 21 and I voted no. I think the players would love it if the field was stormed, but we need to save that for Bama. Beat Bama and I will definitely storm the field.

But, I do think storming the field and tearing down the goal posts is stupid. Its like toilet papering your own yard or rioters destroying their own neighborhood.

If you feel the need to be destructive get a group together and go tear down Florida's goal posts.

Why would we storm the field for a crappy UF team. It would just make us look desperate (which maybe we are). If we beat Bama and they are still #1, then storm the field.

Like it or not, if we win this game (especially if we win a close one) the field WILL get rushed. 20 years of getting beat, 7 straight losses. It's happening. Might as well suck it up and enjoy it.

If you win, if. That said you guys do have a chance, so not knocking you. Other than that, it would be really embarrassing if you did. I for one believe that if a team storms the field it means you weren't suppose to beat them. UK stormed the field when they beat LSU at home a few years back when LSU was ranked 1 or 2, that's when you do it. Storming the field would send the message that you all don't belong, not that you are "back." Just a different perspective, do as you wish.

I voted no. It's just my opinion, but you don't storm the field if you beat a team that you are supposed to beat. Act like you've been here before, and don't give these pukes that kind of respect.

Ask me again before the Alabama game, and I may change my answer.

Storming the field should be a spontanious act brought on by an unbelievable victory. It's not supposed to be a well thought out plan.

My prediction is that there is no reason think about it. The Gators will be sufficiently stomped by the end of the third quarter anyway.

Tennessee fans should never storm the field no matter who they beat. The fact the question is being asked shows how far this program has fell. I will be there Saturday and if one person goes on the field because of a win I will be really embarrassed

If this was a top ten Florida team then yes....this is a Florida team with a slightly better defense that reminds me of the Vol team when the So. Cal. Trojan douche HC was here....I'm just saying....they are not worthy anymore.

I stormed the field in 1998 along with 1000's of other VOL brothern.....so what are you saying :popcorn:

I am saying that only mid major programs should storm the field when they beat a big time program. Every Saturday I expect UT to beat who ever they are playing, this program is a top one. So no need to ever storm the field.

He said he hopes the kids storm Saturday night regardless of security measures. Noted that storming the field vs auburn in 1989 was one of his best memories.
