sorry didnt think about it.. was just a simple question didn't mean for it to go this long.. but everyone saying no will be on the field Saturday night if the students start running so they can say no all they want.. IMO GO VOLS !!!

If we rush the field, I will be ashamed to be a UT fan. We have been there before, and no reason to act like we haven't. Have some class, and go enjoy a win with your buddies, without making the rest of us look like clowns. IMO, JMO, JMHO.

I will never be ashamed to be a UT fan
If other "fans" actions effected my esteem for the team this website would have had me mortified well before a hypothetical storming for a hypothetical win.

We have a wide range of students at this school. Some are very educated as far as football goes, and some just go because it's "the thing to do". The educated football students know that beating the #18 team (the underdog) in the nation does not call for rushing the field. The others are jumping at the once in a college career opportunity to rush the field. Most just don't understand that it isn't the game to do it, as they haven't paid enough attention to our history as the posters on this board.

I for one will not be rushing the field, unless I am about to be trampled by everyone else going nor will I attempt to get people to do it.

Alabama, however, (if by the grace of God we are undefeated) is a different story.

Go Vols

As a current student, I agree with you 100 percent; however, I hope the students do storm the field so I can watch the spectacle ( I'll be sitting in the upper deck).

It will be a double facepalm moment, if we do rush the field.

Storming the field is for the Kentuckys and Vandys of the world. I don't care that we've lost 7 in a row, we should not be storming the field

Storm the field! that's one of the things that makes college football great. What, its been 14 years since we last stormed the field? Way over due for it...

Some people don't want to get arrested, and enjoy the possible win in handcuffs. The KPD, Knox Co. Sheriff's Dept., and THP, and just wanting it to happen, just so the state can make even more money from this game.

No way. Maybe in curmudgeon circles. How easy we forget mattress burnings. Storming a field after breaking a 7 year streak against a conference foe is so far down the list of things a true fan should be mortified by.

This UF team is not even close to being worthy of storming the field. Give me a break.

This. Though, I wouldn't mind it if everyone got caught up in the excitement of gameday being here and a hard fought close game with us winning in the end, and the field was spontaneously stormed. The whole planning in advance to storm the field on a #18 Florida team that we are favored to beatis kind of pathetic to me though.

I voted no. Save it for Bama. Although there should have been an option for throwing piss balloons at gators.

We should just start a tradition of storming the field and ripping down the goalposts win or lose. Ditto for basketball. And Volleyball. And Bass Fishing. And Paintball.

I think guys have too much prestige to storm the field against Florida...especially this Florida team coached by Will Muschamp. Even though the last couple years haven't been great you guys are still Tennessee. But to each it's own, I can't speak on the magnitude of the rivalry the last couple years.
