So, just out of curiosity, this is the third or fourth time I have seen someone mention their faith when chiding us for calling for Fulmer's removal. I am not a Christian, and haven't been to church in a long time so maybe I have forgotten, but does the Bible dictate that the "turn the other cheek" philosophy be used in cases of American football as well?

I think for any football insight we have to look at the OT, where 'eye for an eye' was the rule.

I've adopted the forty years in the desert, before we can enter the promised land.. biblical analogy.

But Broyles tells me that one can cover that distance by car in a day these days... So I'm thinking there may be hope after all...

I adopted the "walk about" theme and actually spent a couple of hours strolling amongst a mob of Emus this afternoon believe it or not.

Broyles if full of it btw if he thinks there is a car that can follow the forty year wandering of the Hebrews in the wilderness in one day. No way.

Duke is currently 3-1 with their only loss coming to 5-0 Northwestern. They've beaten UVa, a Navy team that just beat WFU, and 4-1 JMU who beat App St.

Duke is playing well above their talent level... and among those who might be looking for a coach in the next couple of years, Cut is looking like a candidate.

It may fall apart but right now that move looks pretty smart.
